Fans of Kpop in Australia are all pumped to meet 12 of the hottest idol groups participating in the ‘2011 Sydney Kpop Music Fest‘ today, especially with the announcement of special stages prepared just for the event.

Yoseob from BEAST and G.O from MBLAQ are slated to join the members of CNBLUE in a band performance. Apart from that, SNSD and SHINee will collaborate for a special dance number, while 2AM’s Jo Kwon and Changmin will join forces with 4MINUTE’s Gayoon and SISTAR’s Hyorin for an explosive vocal showcase. Since it is the first time that such a Kpop even will happen in the Land Down Under, these special performances were conceived to delight the Australian audience.

Tiffany and Yuri from SNSD (who are currently hosting MBC’s ‘Music Core‘) will host the program. Apart from the artists already mentioned, the festival will also feature TVXQ, Kara, miss A and Secret.

Korean broadcast network MBC presents the concert to celebrate 2011 Korea-Australia Friendship Year. ‘2011 Sydney Kpop Music Fest’ is also in commemoration of MBC’s 50th anniversary, and this will be the fourth in its series of all-star Kpop concerts after the ones in Korea, Thailand and Japan.

The ‘2011 Sydney Kpop Music Fest’, which will be recorded live at the ANZ Stadium today, will be aired on the MBC channel on December 3.
